Hey guys I'm having some problems with my pump for one Ai Suite can't always pick up the full speed of the pump most of the time its picks up 3200RPM this is when tuning the fans in the software, The 2nd problem is the pump can't seem to hold its speed all the time i can hear it dropping speed but this also happens with a few of my fans as well so it maybe a problem with Fan Xpert3 ? any ideas the pump is around a year old.

Try a different header on the motherboard if it'll reach? Or connect directly to the PSU if you can. It's either the pump, motherboard or the software.

AI Suite can be pretty unreliable. I know it is on mine and all I use it for is the fan curves. Sometimes it doesn't "catch" and my fans just sit at idle. I do have my pump on a Header but it's only for RPM monitoring

Thanks i don't know why asus set up the fan headers in pairs on this board all the heads don't seem to work right ill see if i can find a fan header that can read the full speed other wise i mite get a fan controller.

don't use a fan controller with a pump wire it directly into the +12V
under-speeding the pump is good way to kill it

What do you mean its made to be used with a fan controller o_O.

Laing DDC-3.2 PWM (Xylem DDC-3.25TPPWM4) high-performance water pump with power management control (via PWM - pulse width modulation) of rotation speed trough motherboard BIOS or dedicated fan controller.

anytime you vary the speed you are incurring more wear and tear PWM or not run it flat out or off
