I like simple ones that aren't overly flashy maybe that's not a popular opinion but that's my two cents... anything that takes up more than a few character spaces becomes a bit of a distraction but I guess if it's funny enough it's worth it ... i've got to be honest this is something I don't think I've ever really put any consideration into which is likely a good possible reason these emoticons of been the same for so long :rolleyes:
