Nice, still works with non EVGA cards too. Rivatuner complaints about driver signing being on, this is fast and simple. Test button doesn't work for me, not that those driver tests ever work (for stability) anyways :)

A keeper for me.

I find it odd how the moitoring part looks identical to Rivatuner...

I'll stick with Rivatuner.

Works great on Vista 64, so no complaints. newtekie1, there's rumors that the author of Rivatuner was hired to help develop Precision. That would definitely explain the similarities.

How is this in terms of memory usage or start up services?

I run a nhancer start up service, so that when my apps launch, nhancer properties kick in, but the program itself never runs unless manually activated by me. If I need to adjust clocks I do it through Rivar, using a pre-determined clock setting that's initiated by a launcher shortcut for a particular application.

Was that before or after the similarity(ies) was noticed?

Before, but it's still just a rumor. A lot of people speculated that because they didn't think evga could write this program by themselves

The EVGA Precision's toolbar icon is exactly like RivaTuner's on my system, either there is something wrong or there is some connection to RivaTuner.

It is not the same on my system. Rivatuner has a orange gear, and EP has a grey E.

This is what it looks like on my system. The RivaTuner icon is the second from the left and the EVGA icon (Same as Rivatuner but with green arrow pointing to lower left) is the third from the right. Right clicking it brings up the EVGA Precision On Screen Display setup window which also has the same icon in the upper left corner of the window.

Yea it looks the same on my toolbar...hmmm....:twitch:

I don't see any point in using this as it's a fact RivaTuner has a superior feature set.
And btw, Precision is made by Unwinder - the developer of RivaTuner.

The GPU temperature monitoring as a tray icon is a nice touch...I wish GPU-Z had a similar feature. :)
