OK, so I used to play F.E.A.R. a lot. I mean A LOT. But that was on my old CRT monitor. I have'nt played it at all since I got my LCD, because it doesn't offer 1280 x 1024 as a resolution, and we all know if you set the wrong resolution on an LCD monitor it either doesn't fill up the screen or the picture looks distorted. I would like to get back into playing F.E.A.R., as I never actually played all the way through the story line.
So, my question is: does anyone know a way to manually set the resolution? I know in some games(oblivion for example) there's a .txt settings file in the program files, and I know you can force 1280 x 1024 in BF2 by putting " +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024" after the shortcut, but these methods dont work for F.E.A.R., and quite honestly, it pisses me the f**k off.
