Someone with this memory and ryzen CPU ?

How good it is for overclocking ? Let's say up to 1.4v

I hope you find the needle in the haystack...

What type of memory is under the hood? You can look that up and get a reasonable idea. Those are also old sticks IIRC... old school Aegis? Is that memory on the QVL list for whatever CPU (it's good to share this information with us) you're using?

I do not know anything about it as is ordered it and will get it in few weeks.

This is pretty common cheap budget ram and many people should use it.

So, you ordered it first, then asked? Gotcha.

You may be able to google that part number and see what's under the hood. ;)

As far as if it is on the QVL list, all you need to do is look it up at the website for your motherboard and see (I use the mobo QVL versus memory maker).

What system (mobo and processor) is this kit mating with? That is also helpful information for us to know as some chipsets/boards/CPU overclock more than others.

I wouldn't expect a lot of oc with budget ram just run the xmp.

Yes my motherboard is supported. MSI b450m pro-vdh max + Ryzen 1600AF or Ryzen 2600
I doubt you'll get much over XMP with the 1st zen Ryzen... maybe a bit more on the Zen+/2000 series. That said, you should have bought a DDR4 3600 kit and called it a day. That is the sweetspot for 2000 series and newer Ryzen. I wouldn't but 1st gen ryzen today... Go 2000/3000 series or bust.

The 1600AF is Zen+ its a 2600 with a lower clock so no first gen ryzen but i think you already know this, im just pointing it out.

What about fact that memory has no heat spreader it probably still will be fine up to 1.4v with no overheating in good ventilated case.

These RAM are fine for a budget build (i think they are 1st gen DDR4) I have used them before and they wore fine I was able to run them at the rated speed. They should work with AM4.

Memory doesn't really need a heatspreader. ;)

BUt the memory you bought has one anyway.
