Hello, i am using browser for occasional facebook check. I use messenger that is part of the site. I dont use facebook on any other device nor will i.
The problem i am having is that when i am trying to send a video to a friend, it will more often than not, not send it. First of all, as soon as i land on facebook page i get like 4 uncaught errors. While i never worked on something as big as fb, when i got an error on 1 of my projects it was a real red alert to me. But its like this on fb ever since i can remember so i guess its alright, you can see the screen shot in first pic.
Ok, so i make sure the video is of standard dimension and under 25MB. I try to upload it. After about 40 seconds i get the error in the second image. Its internal server error, the code is in line 1136 (though its not really a line, its a bunch of lines one after another using ; so to get further idea at which part it faults, i would have to break it apart or force chrome to do so). I tried chrome, firefox and edge. The videos are recorded by my mobile phone (S7 edge) and i encode them using handbrake. I tried all kinds of settings. I tried h264, h265 and mpeg4. I tried fixed and variable fps. I tried fast, faster, very fast. Tried RF 25-30. If its a short video it will allow it to be 1080p. If its a long video, it will only allow something like 480xYYY or 320xYYY. Thats all under 25MB. What pisses me off the most is that i dont get any usable error, like video is to long or something. Anyone has any idea what is going on ?
