Right, this may not be new, but its the first time ive seen it, and while not surprised i cant believe theyre still making all this crap endorsed by this guy

Why though?, as if a pro gamer with all his endorsements would use a passively cooled mid range graphics card

I would have liked that zalman case that came out a while back if it wasnt for this guys name plastered all over it, but how many products has this bloke got to his name now? his main claim to fame is winning a doom3 multiplayer competition, a FOUR PLAYER GAME!!, i regularly pwn my mates in 8 player games of bf2, cod2 and half life 2 deathmatch, can we have the gr1ng5 range please xfx, zalman, abit, creative etc etc
 
the card itself looks good value, which is what i go for rather than whose name is on the front.
however, i agree, fatal1ty is getting anoying. i remember that zalman case, in the review and pictures it had ultimate build quality, but was ruined by the stupid stickers.

that card is total crap! Who wants to buy a 7600 thats the same price as a 7900 just because its got Fatal1ty's name on it?? I know I wouldnt ;)

I agree, all the stuff endorsed by him is crap, rebadged crap :)

not here in the UK m8, that 7600GT is £104 but the 7900GS is only £105 ;) I would rather pay the extra £1 and get a far better card :roll:

Because he's a sellout like everything else. No more quality or function on the planet anymore. Just marketing hype and garbage with capped performance so they can sell upgrades later. I played that guy in Quake III before and he's an arrogant ass so anything for money. Thing is, as arrogant as he is, he's being played like a flute because your right, a "pro gamer" endorsing a crap card doesn't make sense. Maybe they showed him how awesum Quake III is running 500fps on it. :laugh:

although you have to admit that the red led vf900 from zalman is pretty awesome looking. Especially because my case theme is red it would work perfectly. I don't care about the logo. Just the performance and the fact that it isn't a blue led.

A lot of tournament PC's use mid-range components... You don't need a high-end PC for most multiplayer gaming.
 
turning off smoke effects gives you an advantage, no? :)

also, pro gamers have to take whatever deeals they can get, because they arent always assured of game wins e.g. 200 k income in one year, 40k the next
 
u think this is bad, try korea where people are litterly national stars for playing STARCRAFT, yes thats correct STARCRAFT they play these games on tv like we watch football/baseball and its a national passtime, crazy shit or what!!!!

well,i liked the demo i had years ago...
its the only RTS that i liked apart from age of empires1
 
i swear i used to play fatality in ut gotye some years back, if it was him he wernt so cocky then, but thats because he always got his arse pasted an handed to him on a gold diamond platter by me :D

but yes, his endonrsed stuff is shite. i even had the abit fatality for a review, it was so bad i couldnt actually review it, POS just kept randomly shutting off etc, googling at the time proved it to be a common problem with the board, along with a whole hoast of other stuff. so instead of a review, i did a bug report, low and behold, problems suddenly started getting fixed - in the order i even listed them lol
 
the zalman cooler(gpu) with his name on its not crap, overpriced yes but not crap :)


best RTS of all time, TOTAL ANNIALATION!!!!!! TA is THE rts the grandaddy of all modern RTS games, still a blast to play!!!!
