Hi! With the latest driver and DLSS versions, there is a process called nvngx_update.exe that's being fired whenever a game is launching. Actually, it's not just one process, but more than a dozen (just for a few seconds).
As a DLSS nerd, I like to maintain my DLSS config myself
So, is there a way to prevent this via NVCleanstall? Including the whole stuff under C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA\NGX that seems to be associated with this system?
I ran a trace with ProcMon, but didn't see anything truly helpful. The parent process of nvngx_update.exe is the game itself, so it must be a DLL that's starting these processes. Maybe it's the DLSS 4 files (which I placed in the game dir - it's a game from the DLSS 2 era) themselves? It almost seems like it, because these DLLs are getting loaded right before.
Removing the nvngx_update.exe from the driver store helps. But that's quite an ugly solution
