Upgraded from my MSI G27C6 27" 1080p display to a Dell G2724D.

Been wanting to do this for so long and finally made the switch and wow, sooo much better!

My last 3 monitors were curved and now I'm getting a fish eye effect and it looks as if the monitor is curving away from me and popping out in the middle, I guess my brain is trying to compensate for the curve it's expecting to see, wonder how long until my flat display actually looks flat lol!

Nice upgrade. I went from a 27 inch 1080p to a 27 inch 1440p monitor years ago and because they were the same size the difference in quality of picture was very evident. Much sharper image. One of the best moves I ever made. Now I'm on a 144 Hz 1440p and........life is good.

Time to slap in a 5700X3D i think. That will really bump up your FPS

I had this really bad after using the original odyssey G7 with a 1000R curve.
Took around a week until it was normal again.

Nice going, OP. A nice screen is the best investment you can make for your computer, it took me a long time to admit to that. I used to buy super expensive halo GPUs, but neglected upgrading my screen :kookoo:for so long, until it dawned on me that everything my computer did was displayed through the monitor! Then I bought the best and baddest OLED that LG offered at the time

DLSS with frame generation makes high frame rate 4K achievable on affordable hardware. It looks much better than most people imagine. Take this leap if you can, you will not regret it! A 42 inch LG OLED C4 (or better) should be in every PC gamer's desk IMO.

Yeah they've really come down in price recently. I think I paid the same as what the 1080p 27" MSI cost me a couple years back.

£209 on sale direct from Dell and with a 12% code off I had worked out at £185. Can't complain! The PPI is much, much better from FHD at 27" which I think is the top limit for 1080p.

Yeah for sure! I'm looking forward to letting my 6750 XT stretch its legs a bit! From what I've tested so far it looks sooo good, clear and sharp and also handles motion way better than my curved VA panel in my last monitor.

Good to know it will go after not too long, it's so trippy.

I went from a gorgeous Dell 27" 1440/165hz to a Dell 32" 3440x1440 144hz UW and would not go back. But have to say imo a 27" 1440 is still a very good size/res
