Foxconn A79A-S / Phenom II 940

I'm lookin for some memory advice guys. I'm building on a Phenom II 940/ Foxconn A79A-S and have heard about clearance issues with RAM heat sinks. I know I'm going with ddr2 1066 really thinking about OCZ Reapers but the clearance issue there is obvious. Anyone have some ideas?

Well with my board and my cooler (Xigmatek S1283) I can't put a RAM stick with a tall heatsink in the first RAM slot. Otherwise all my RAM slots can be populated fine, and I think the clearance between the RAM slots and the CPU socket is the same on mine as it is on yours.

EDIT: Scratch that I've just take a look, on the A79A-S the clearance is the same as my old board. IE you will lose the first 2 slots if you use RAM with tall heatspreaders.

Crap !! Not a huge deal if I can go dual channel with the last 2 slots.
looks like heatspreaders are out. So much for my Reapers ...dominators too I would imagine.

why not try liquid intercooling?

Liquid cooling is on the table. I've heard good things about Kingston KHX8500D2K2/4G not huge HS on them.

What about Crucial Ballistix. I have both the Black and Red tracers DDR2 4Gb(2x2Gb)kits running 1067 @ 5-5-5-15 on 2.02 volts with no issues.

I'm wanting to get into the 1200 territory ... the kingstons volt up to 2.3. The lack of size on the HS will prolly mean I need a fan aimed at them somehow. This is getting complicated quick.
