Ok i have been posting around as you might of seen. now i have lots of question to ask. but first here's my specs

Asrock ALiveSATA2-GLAN
Amd Anthlon 64 3800+ 2.4ghz
1 Gb Exlilr Ram
Nvidia Geforce 7600gt

Oh and just to let you know its not even one month old and its custom bulit

ok the question are:

No matter what setting i have when i try and record dods and wow on gamcam and fraps when i record brings it down to it lowest Fps?

When i load up a server on bf2 it take 10-20 mins to load up and yet some one with the same amount ram can load it in 2 minutes?

My built in soundcard 7.1 Channel with High Definition Audio when i play music if i load something up or minimizes it lags?

And i just seem to get lag and ive done all the scans and defrags?

so does anyone think they can help?

Recording is a big hit on the hardware, as its encoding while trying to play the game.

Lower your detail and settings.

As for server loading time, its probably from a lack of HDD speed.

A clean windows install always helps greatly here, too.

ive tried lowering doesnt work and i only just got the computer it has my old 200gb hd in it

Are you talking about hosting for LAN or WAN?

High Definition Audio means nothing. Just a cheap marketing trick.

How much cache does the HD have?

no im just worried about my computer the hd has a 8 mb cache

see im not sure on what to do its seem everyones computer with similar spec run much faster than mine

What is yoour virtual memory settings? For best gamming the minumum size should be 2X ram(size) and the max 4X ram(IE:4X512=2048). Check controll panel > system > advanced > performance settings, and ckeck box for custom settings and set perameters.
Also what is your connection speed (cable, dsl,)go to SPEEDTEST.NET and runa test to see what your running for ping/upload/download. If you don't use things like AOL, delete them from your system all windows comes with this crap, and if it doesn't as soon as you update it throught the I-net it does. Do a search for programs that you never use and delete them; A lot of cycles are hogged up by programs you never use (windows runs them anyways) and check your IE Explorer ADD-ON's and delete any add-ons connected with those programs you deleted. CHeck software section on TPU for Windows XP Optimization guide and try some of those things also.

First of all, fraps is crap.

While I don't play those games, on the games I do play (Q3 based, mainly), the way to make a proper vid is to take an in-game demo, then process the demo *after* you are done playing. If your game has a way to take a demo, then a way to render frames from the demo (when you are not playing), this is the way to go.
