The new Define 7 Compact takes the strongest features of the contemporary 7 Series design and places them in a conveniently compact frame. The versatile open layout of the Define 7 Compact allows you to maximize the potential of the small footprint with full-size ATX hardware to meet your exact needs.

Interchangeable top covers allow you to switch between solid steel for full noise suppression or a ventilated cover for extra cooling. The top framework is fully removable for unprecedented ease of access to interior components, and five front ports (including one USB Type-C) means you don't sacrifice expandability for the small footprint.

Add to that the numerous enhancements to every aspect of component and cooling support, and it's clear to see the Define 7 Compact has you well covered.

We have just posted our review of the Fractal Design Define 7 Compact.

There I was thinking this will be some sort of itx case.

Disapointed its not ITX... they really need a refresh there.

There *is* a market for 'large' ITX cases like the nano S, and we need a new one!

I wouldn't mind a Node 804 update. But unfortunately mATX is even less popular lol

Meshify C refresh plz

6,218,947.563 and counting.......

MOAR s/o/s/s/////

looks like my next case.

compact and you can still stuff a full wc system in it.

Looks nice, tho I'm probably going for Mini C since I've been thinking about mATX B550 as my next board..

Here's to hoping for a meshify mini refresh. If that happens that might be my next case

After reading TPU's review it's on my short-list as well. I've been looking for something smaller than my R5 Blackout with a front USB-C port + at least 2 other USB 3.0 ports.

Meshify C refresh plz
It's coming...
They've released the Meshify-S2 which is the Meshify Huge..LoL
It has a lot of the features this case has.
I'm guessing the lower cost $100-ish cases will be out after they clear the current stock.
And the current stock is priced to sell quickly...

By front USB-c you meant top, right? :p
I want this design with front panel ports.

I like it, but I have a Define R6 so I might be a bit biased hehe :p

I like the smaller foot print...trimmed down reasonably but still big enough for the usual ATX boards and some AIO radiators. I just wish they would have kept the 140mm exhaust. I'm curious on pricing though.

And here I am thinking it would be nice to have my USB and Audio ports on the lower right side on the glass side...

"""Compact"""

Yes, the Define 7 is huge, but frankly, so is this. Just slightly less so. Ain't nothing compact about this chunky box.

Thermaltake Core series has that covered.

Lol. I have an R5 so I'm used to the top ports. Plus the way I have my desk set up top works best.

Though after reading PCPer's review, I might have to take this off my list. I ran into that issue with the thick PSU cable and the side clearance with my R5 on an older PSU. I made it work, but it was annoying. With my current PSU it seems like I wouldn't have an issue, like with TPU's review, but who knows what the future might bring and I don't change cases that often.
