antivirus. I use VIPRE.

I'v managed to get windows live installed and working via a little registry edit. This may work for other programs too that have difficulty installing.

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SYSTEM - CurrentControlSet - Control - ProductOptions
And edit the key: ProductType
From: "ServerNT"
To: "WinNT"

and it runs great, faster than W7 IMHO
