Since you can not comment under their news I thought it would be nice to express my opinions here.
OK. Lets have a look:
First of all, it is not huge demand, we call it ^^shortage^^. Cuz when it comes to ATI, they always write shortage instead of hude demand.
Yeah, I am so smart that I am going to buy it as soon as it is listed. Becasue it is the damn fastest single GPU card on the planet with 15 % faster than its competitor ATI. FYI I will ignore the 300W TDP and 95 degrees...
Come on. Everbody knows that you are nothing more than an nVidia affiliated web site! I mean seriously check their news!
P.S. I am NOT an ATI fanboy.
OK. Lets have a look:
Fermi to be in short supply

Huge demand
Nvidia partners have ordered Fermi cards even before they ended up with Geforce GTX 480 and Geforce GTX 470 brands and this is just the beginning of the story. Back in October Nvidia has created a huge hype for its 512 shader compute chip and people were ordering these cards like there was no tomorrow.
We talked with quite a few Nvidia partners and it looks like most of them simply won't get enough Fermi cards. Distributors and etail / retail stores have already ordered far more cards that partners can provide.
At launch, Nvidia has much less cards that partners can sell but this might end up to be the case for a few partners, only. Unfortunately, while it's possible that some might end up with enough cards, we highly doubt it.
Note that Fermi cards should show up in etail / retail stores on April 12th, as this date has been confirmed by Nvidia as well as few partners. Our advice to anyone who's after Fermi cards is that you better be ready to buy one as soon as you see it listed.
