Hello everyone, the problem i stated in the title is not my issue but my friend's. I am asking for help on behalf of him since he cannot speak english very well.

The issue happens in games like RAGE 2 and GTA V, he crashes into desktop with the error called "access violation 0xc00005".

We have been trying to solve it, and here are the steps we have tried already tried.

We have swapped ram,cpu and ssd with brand new ones. We have tried reinstalling windows several times, ran bios, gpu and cpu on stock settings with various bios versions, but we couldnt solve the issue.

From the attempts we have followed, i am assuming it is an hardware error but cannot find out which component is problematic, hence i opened the thread in general hardware.

Here are his specs;

My friend's specs;
amd ryzen 5600x
rtx 3060 TuF asus with 3 fans
gskill 4x4 8gb cl18 3600 mhz ram
samsung pro 500gb ssd
650watt asus TuF power supply
Asus TuF b450m- pro ii motherboard

Thanks everyone, we are desperately trying to troubleshoot what is going with this PC, we are open to all suggestions and ideas.

are you using Vsync in-game with the games you have specified?

We have tried lowest settings in those games, including disabling vsync. Also tried various chipset drivers and gpu drivers.
I know Deathloop had that problem and it would seem the reason for it was the Vsync in game.
Maybe try to switch it off in the game and use global NVidia driver to set the FPS limiter with Vsync.

Is it possible that there is simply an hardware compatibility issue between ram,cpu or even motherboard ?

Might be. You can check the ram and your motherboard vendor to see if the sticks are compatible.

Try looking in here.

Have you tried using just 2 of the 4 sticks of RAM?

Tried using 2 sticks of ram, the problem takes longer to appear but it is still there. One thing we have noticed is, when we use only 2 ram sticks we can see the ram temperatures but if we plug in 4 the ram temperatures disappear. TSOD stopts being supported.

Hwinfo64 sensors please, and also event viewer.

Hey guys, solved the issue. There was nothing wrong with his PC lol, we could also kind of tell because of the benchmarks and other games we played were %100 fine.

It was those some games being uncompatible with windows 10 version he has, once we upgraded to win11 and tried it again. Everything is normal again with the games and such others.

Rage 2 and GTA V not compatible with Windows 10?
:roll:

It should be, but apparently many people had those issues with the given error when we searched to google database. Even I as a 5600x user had problems with windows 10 such as audiocrackling stuttering and buzzing during youtube videos, i used latencymon at the time and the pc would randomly spike to 500 ms every other second. And during those buzzing/stuttering it would go like 10000 ms. After i have updated my system to windows 11. None of those happened again. Latency wasnt ever higher above 50-60 ms.

Ok so bug fixes for 10 were implemented in 11, sad to say the GUI is clunky like 10 and still forces updates, telemetry is still a pita
