Gaming: Black edges around objects in fullscreen mode

Hey guys,

I'm getting some ugly graphical artefacts when gaming in fullscreen. The effect applies on most of my games, and has been present for maybe a year or so. Updating GPU drivers have not been helpful. Don't know when exactly it started appearing or why. So the thing is, when I'm gaming in fullscreen-mode (does not matter if it's exclusive fullscreen or not) moving objects get this odd black edge/shadow around them, almost like motion blur but just black. Check out the screenshot below from Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It's taken as I moved the camera from right to left, and as you can see, all objects get this black smudge/shadow that drags along. If I alt-tab out of the game and back in, the effect is gone for a brief moment, then the screen makes a tiny flicker and the black smudge/shadow effect kicks in again. This makes me suspect this might related to some sort of software issue? The effect is not present if I play in windowed mode. This is really annoying, has been bothering me for a long time, but I just don't know how to fix this. Can anyone help me?

For the record, my GPU is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, driver version 441.66.

Screenshot showing black shadows/smudge, see the man's hat and the very visible black shadow to its right.

Screenshot while in windowed mode. No black smudge/shadows. Nice and smooth.

Nvidia global and game settings (apologize for the Norwegian text, hopefully most of it is reasonably understandable (av = off, på = on).

Thanks,

Did you try full video driver reinstall? Do you have HDR monitor? Do you use any reshades?
