Tech innovator GELID Solutions, is thrilled to unveil its latest Phase Change Thermal Interface. Developed with cutting-edge technology and designed to meet the demands of today's high-performance devices. HeatPhase Ultra is built to last, offering great durability. Unlike regular materials, it stays effective without getting
hard or worn out over time, ensuring steady temperature control. Safety is a priority, and HeatPhase Ultra is designed to prevent electrical issues, reducing the risk of short circuits, especially in delicate applications.

Designed with user convenience in mind, HeatPhase Ultra prevents bleeding during application, staying in place without creating a mess. Its user-friendly nature simplifies both application and removal processes, making it the preferred choice for technicians and users alike. Responding to demand, HeatPhase Ultra comes in two sizes: one for Intel and one for AMD processors. This tailored approach guarantees a good fit for different systems, providing effective thermal control for various electronic devices.

The HeatPhase Ultra is RoHS and WEEE compliant and carries a 2 year warranty.

"HeatPhase Ultra is a major improvement in thermal management. Its excellent heat conductivity, durability, and user-friendly features stand out. This practical solution enhances electronic device performance in tough conditions, making it essential for various users", said Gebhard Scherrer, Sales Director of GELID Solutions Ltd.

The HeatPhase Ultra has a MSRP:
  • For Intel USD 9.50 or EUR 9.50
  • For AMD USD 10.00 or EUR 10.00

nm not interested, even Gelid's own charts show its only 2 celsius better than thermal paste. waste of my time. bottom 77 celsius the heat phase change thingy. i'll just stick with mx-6 until i run out then move over to kryosheet to make my life easier

The only thing I want to know is how durable this solution to re-applications, since this is the only case where I think the price tag can justify the product.

a 2 celsius gain is worth the mess for you over kryosheet, seriously?

I never claimed it was. All i want to know is how durable this solution is to reapplications. That's all.

fair. I just am not even interested, Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet is no mess, can use it for the rest of my life, and literally same temps as paste, maybe 1 celsius warmer, big whoop imo.

Honestly they shouldn't even make paste or liquid metal or phase change anymore, Kryosheet is all anyone needs, and no I am not paid by thermal grizzly to advertise, I just don't understand why anyone would want the mess for basically no gain that matters.

that being said I do think liquid metal is still important for laptops and ps5's. condensed form factors do benefit from liquid metal at least. just not big rigs like we use

Here's a fair advice. Never eliminate a product just because another one with a similar purpose exists on the market, at least until these things are thoroughly tested.
It's a bad way to approach things, generally.

pretty sure the company that made it, if they say its only 2 celsius better, you might get 3 or 4 celsius better in testing at max... still not worth it. and if there testing is that far off, I am not sure I trust their product... so really its about line of logic thinking

Considering this is none conductive, unlike the kryosheet, this can have different applications too
The whole point of PCM thermal solutions is that you don't need to reapply it, as there is no pump out.

It is not about getting better temps, it is about getting a consistent and easy application.

If i can save myself from reapplying thermal paste to perform none critical missions and save some effort doing it, re-application can come in handy.
Often certain types of hardware debugging will make you go through a good portion of thermal paste, which sure isn't that expensive when bought bulk, but re-useable solutions can remove a bit of the headache

My CPU sits on PTM7958 and my GPU on Kryosheet. No more F* around.

I don't do PTM7958 on GPU just because it is under water, it doesn't make sense to use it as it starts working only over 40C...

I am still baffled why our local reviewers are not taking this more seriously and do proper insight into those both things.

Please test it, however I use Kryosheets for testbuilds and troubleshooting :)

Kryosheets do deteriorate. You cannot do it, too expensive for a new one each time.

Nah I really just use them for troubleshooting, testing and so on. In my personal rig I use MX-4 2019 Edition and after that is empty I will take a look around.

Ah, well I use even older MX-2 for fast tests. If you put it like enough and don't go bananas with the amount then cleaning ain't a problem. I was thinking about benchmark side, as they deteriorate, you cannot have apples to apples comparison then, you have to use a new one each time.

Just because it sounds appealing to you doesn’t meant everyone else wants the same :) I have no interest in sheets because I don’t make a mess lol.
