Will be auto-selected by OS language / selected region or user can manually select it

It is a good feature to have no matter what application. The only down sides are the larger binary size and the trouble with finding people to translate.

Default to English, manually select. Many IT people dislike their native language in the IT world. (when it's not English)

Even with 10 languages added, the binary won't put on more than 50 KB.

True. I'm a native german speaker, however I do like all programs to be in english. So manual selection would be indeed better imho. There isn't much to translate anyway.

same here. the problem is that most users have no clue that there are (will be) multiple languages and that they can be changed and that the dropdown for it is in the system menu.
so the plan is to default to the system locale language (what formats your numbers).

What if the language could be selected under installation and/or under startup of the application?

Anyway...like most others I prefer English as the default language.

If translation comes up I will volunteer (Danish) :)

100% agreed. Most of the stuff just sounds weird when translated and sometimes even the meaning changes.

Still it's nice to always have an option

Yea would be nice feature, i can help for translating to my language :)

It's not the UI, but infotips that will get translations (first). Expert users probably won't need infotips, but others probably will.

thank you

i'm translating to Mongolia
after i post here
i love GPU-Z

thank you W1zzard

I can volunteer for Italian and Maltese if you need.

I can volunteer Drunkanese if you need it.

Maybe we should add Klingon then as well.

I'm sorry but that would be F#*KING AWESOME. I mean awesome beyond all reason!

Bulgarian

I can help translate in Bulgarian. :)

P.S. Klingon would be uber cool and geeky as well :p

Probably will help to do this in Latvian, problem is, we dont have some of those words in our language :D

So true in my case, I hate Serbian implemented in programs, but there are some users (rarely in IT) who don't understand English too well.

imho best would be question at the first startup, which language to use...
P.S.
Did the Latvian translation.

"Ker Plach!"

I think you mean Ker Plakh, Ker Plach would mean "Raster Peach", and that doesn't make much sense.:slap:

I actually ment Klingon as a joke but omg.

maybe you need to metaphorize some things in klingon .. shader could become "thing that makes the blood smear"

Do Klingons even use GPUs or are they ray tracing everything?
