Generic RGB controller

Hi guys.
My stuff isn't sync'd
In fact, most of it is so old that the programs they make to control the RGB on the newer stuff doesn't work.
My EVGA color contoller kinda works. I can get it to go to a solid color, or breathe, or rainbow, but I can't get it to change color based on temp.
My AURA lighting effect on my MOBO doesn't work at all with the armory crate. It doesn't even recognize it.
The RGB on my keyboard and mouse work, but not in unison. The whole thing is just stupid.
Is there a single program that works with all this stuff?
Maybe in my next build I will buy all my RGB from the same manufacturer. Right after I win the lottery.

No one answered you, but the final answer is not really. You need to buy into one brands ecosystem (corsair and razer being the two with the most diverse options)

Currently i've got razer, because their ARGB controller works with any generic ARGB fans and light strips, so i dont need to fully buy into their brand.

RGB/ARGB is a mess atm because too many brands made hardware with custom connectors, so you cant mix and match. Corsair went halfway with generic ARGB wiring, but custom connectors and razer recently went with generic ARGB connectors... but that doesnt help sync external and internal devices at all.

There are a few programs out there claiming to support mixing brands together, but they're a buggy mess and require all the other programs running (so icue, razer synapse, asus aura, gigabyte fusion etc etc ALL TOGETHER) which is an absolutely horrible drain on system performance for no reason

Any idea where to get legacy programs? I have an Asus Aura board. I used to have a disk that had the utilities on it, one of which was the AURA lighting control. The current program ASUS has doesn't even recognize my MOBO.

Both are gargbage software, but should control your asus motherboard fine.

Yeah, tried that. Doesn't even recognize my board. Looking for the legacy or original program. It is called ASUS AURA Lighting Control. Thinking about buying a used copy of the utilities disk. Shouldn't have to tho. The web is an awful big place, it has to be here somewhere.

Tried that yesterday. Nothing recognizes my mobo. Interestingly enough, the Armory crate did get my RBG working on my MOBO just doesn't recognize it or let me control it. I have the rainbow effect which wouldn't be terrible if it was synced with the rainbow effect on my EVGA waterblock. Since I have a red exhaust fan, I have the waterblock set to red. I would like to get the MOBO to match. It shouldn't be that freaking hard to figure out, yet somehow it is.

It doesn't says lighting control but AURA, all i know is that the CD came with the Asus Rog Maximus XI Extreme that i bought 2 years ago and it was working with that Motherboard

AURA was the 1st gen RGB that ASUS offered. What programs are in your utilities folder? It is possible that I am remembering the wrong name...
