I have an HP pro 3400 series MT with a Foxconn 2ABF main board. Will an Nvidia GT730 work? I also have a new monitor with only HDMI input so will the video card work? I do get some video out but the message to hit the Esc key to open the bios doesn't work. Nothing happens except the monitor times out. If it won't work what card can I use? My wife uses this machine for light gaming.

Have you tried to look for a bios update for your HP machine?

Some OEM builds ain't best friends with graphics card that uses UEFI if their bios doesn't support it.

Hi,
Looks like my old acer ax3800 from 2009 with a Q9550
Now has a evga 980ti in it using it as a media center

I had a gt series in it at one one time it was a tight fit seeing the case was the size of a old vcr lol
Yours should have a regular pci-e slot don't believe the gt series have extra port for addition power so it gets all power from the mother board.

You'll never get into bios using a hdmi port you will need to use dvi or vga cable for that.
