hi all, I'm struggling to add a UEFI Bios so I can get a boot picker on this Mac Pro 3.1. It's currently F1 bios, Gigabyte say F1-F9 should work but F3 flashing complains of sub system ID mismatch and fails.
I've tried extracting and injecting a UEFI using HD7xxxSeriesUEFIPatchToolBETA which seems to work but wrecks Mac OS HDMI display, I also tried Netkas' 7950 script to add a Mac EFI picker which worked with the loss of HDMI and DVI Catalina OS up.
It seems a shame to give up on this card for want of a boot picker as it's otherwise perfectly adequate for my needs. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Can you please go to the advanced tab in gpu z, go to the memory context menu to show what ram is on the card, hynix is known to come in as afr, bfr, AJR, MJR

The closest I see to Memory in the advanced tab popup is 'memory timings' with Hyinx and Elpida code,

I will still look lol

Well @Final_Fighter would need to take the 7870 bios from your card and mod it or implement the Hynix MFR ram onto this bios below, thats the only bios in the database.

Being GA, probably good you got a HD 7970 Anyway.

here it is

Please open GPU-Z again, Click the black arrow again and upload the Bios to the VGA bios collection/Database through GPU-Z itself, if you get a warning about it being in system already, upload it anyway with detailed info about your specific card and memory it contains, you should then get a link to the file, post that link here.

Dont upload the bios into the thread

I uploaded it and it seemed to go OK but I didn't get a link.
