Up and running, indeed!!! Everything went well once I got XP Pro installed correctly. You can see a few benchmark results in the "Overclocking & Cooling" threads.

Thanks for asking.

Neither...It can go higher but I dont want to push it just yet because I am waiting on a better PSU. I am currently using my old Antec SP400 to power my C2D system.

Also, on the way is an upgraded CPU cooler for shits and giggles.

People are getting much closer to 500fsb with this same setup (E6300 & DS3.)

One step at a time. that's my motto unless I'm impatient... and I usually am.

I try to be patient, too but sometimes I cant help it. Hopefully my new gear will get here by Friday. I will then push it a little further but not by much. I plan on maybe running 428fsb (2996mhz) 24/7 once I have everything installed and only if it is 100% stable after running the usual tests.

I hear you - with a new rig like that I'd be doing baby steps too. I had the unusual opportunity on two occasions to hand pick CPUs:

Celeron 1.3 Ghz (tested 7 of them, same mobo)
Prescott 630 3.0 GHz (Tested 4 of them, same mobo)

When you get to that point, the first thing you do is push the next processor to the point the previous one failed, if it works, push it higher! Then test the next one, and don't waste any time, LOL
