Gigabyte B650 aorus elite AX V1.2 and EXPO Ram wont boot from restart but runs fine from cold boot

Go to gigabyte drivers page for your motherboard and download their amd chipset drivers as well as update with their bios.
My system: Aorus b650i ultra m-itx, 7800x3d, ddr5 6000 cl30 G skill x5 (32gbx2) EXPO 1.4v. Chipset drivers shouldnt come straight from the AMD website as it did the same thing to this system(thinking updateing would be good). Gigabyte chipset drivers for b650 definitely have to come from them directly.

Yeah done that but it still wont boot up with expo enabled.
Just going to return motherboard And do some research maybe go back to intel
thanks anyway.

Try just lowering the ram speed by 1 level while keeping the timings the same. For example if its 6000cl32 try running it as 5600cl32. Its not ideal solution but it could work

Yeah tried that anything over the rated 4800 and it wont boot from restart.
Strange really as it boots fine from a cold boot running correct timings and 6000MHz.
But as soon as I restart it wont post just flashes between dram and cpu/

You could have a bad MB or memory. Time for the basic 101 of troubleshooting.

Are you allowing it to post? Like it takes up to 3 minutes to post.

The other question is how much memory *do you have and the speed. Those are big factors for AMD.

Seems like a PEBKAC error. Not sure Intel will be any better if you aren't willing to troubleshoot.

PEBKAC error. Yeah, troubleshoot been at it three weeks non stop. building pc since 1980 things seem to be going downhill fast.
Seems as though pc peripherals are coming onto the market with very little QC.
look at Asus selling a defective product and then trying to fool users into voiding their own warranty.
Please close this thread now thanks for your input.
