hey everybody,

i bought a celeron 420 cpu and 1 gig of a-data pc-5300 memory with this board. i have video memory set to 128mb in bios, but when i run videos i get lag. this happens when im on the net or watching dvd. in graphics info it tells me that minimum video memory is 64mb and max is 128mb. but only 7mb is in use. what could be causing this? i have tried different drivers and different settings in bios to no aveil. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
i have include the diagnostic report from the graphic setings.

Have you updated the motherboard BIOS?

yes to f5 which is the newest. i cant think of any thing else.

Try setting both minimum and maximum memory to 128mb.

tried that also. i have 2 settings- dmvt which is 64min to 128 max, and fixed which sets both to 128megs. could i have gotten a bad motherboard.

That can't be it. I have the same motherboard and uses a Pentium Dual-Core with 1GB of Kingston pc-5300 ram. It works fine for me, never any lag.

Check your ram by using a memory utility. If that doesn't work, try downgrading the bios by flashing an earlier version, though highly unrecommended.
