Looking for an upgrade and I need opinions on Gigabyte RX 7800XT Gaming OC since I've heard so many bad things about gigabyte Im not sure about it. Also please don't suggest nitro+ etc. because all the 7800xt's except gigabyte are out of stock in my country.

I think you will be fine, just undervolt it a little to keep the temps in check.

If you have multiple displays and for whatever reason need dual HDMI, you're basically married to Sapphire on that purchase decision. That said, I would stick to the PURE model just because I'm done with dual axial fan designs. These cards are big enough in speed and power to warrant being such chonkers. Aside from that, PowerColor makes a good Fighter and Red Devil. I decided to pick the high road with a Hellhound but I also skipped 7800 series for the 7900 XT. Both of these should be perfectly fine in terms of temps and performance for the next several years. If I encounter any problems I'll post about them later.

If you can wait, then get the card you really want. If you want one now, the GB card is good, just under volt it a little and adjust your fan curve to keep the temps where you're comfortable. You want to under volt any of the cards you choose, to get better performance and better temps anyway.

That card is on the noisy side, you'd have to manually configure the RPMs to keep the noise down.

All of the cards now adays are jet engines.. or they run hot until you play with the fan curves.

Of course, but some are better than others once tweaked ;)

Almost  I have the card in my system, no need to google it, but I was wrong because of the weird AMD driver.

I had enabled Advanced Control under Fan tuning, but not changed any default limits- one would assume they're card default limits right? :)
Screenshot 2024-01-30 015754.jpg

But no, simply enabling Advanced Control without any further changes results in much more aggressive fan curve than default. Not enabling Advanced control makes the card behave like in many reviews. Apologies. ;)
