Good upgrade from a GTX 260 216 Core

A GTX 560 Ti or AMD HD6950 would be a potent upgrade from a GTX260 IMO, and should fall nicely in at about £200.
also what GTX260 do you have? a 192 or core 216 model? also helps to go to the user control panel and fill in/show your system specs so we can more accurately recommend for you

Depends entirely on the resolution you're playing at.
I agree with the last post. Both are decent options for the price. But be sure to double check check your needs: if you don't really need that much horsepower, a fraction of this money can stay in your wallet...

@ 1920x1080 a 560 Ti or 6950 will be great IMO, but no idea whether they will handle BF3 exceptionally, it's a long way off still.

Well as others said a GTX560ti would be a great improvement for your budget. It would be on average 40% faster plus DX11 support. As for BF3 (we are all expecting that game...) you will also need a quad CPU, the faster the better.

i went from a gtx260 216 to a 6950 2G and great increase noticed
but ya like others said 560ti or 6950 2g , best to just check what games you play and see what will perform best you prob wont notice any major difference between the two cards either
i have to say eyefinity is pretty epic the 6950 is a monster i can play bc2 @ 5760x1080 on high settings
