Got some MX6 today so thought i would strip the GPU block and see how it is as i was taking it off anyway, quite surprised, it was pretty clean after near 2 years. It's a EK block btw

That looks great for running nearly 2 years!!!!

What was you using for the fluid?

Hi,
Looks like the nickel plating held up
Mine sort of rubbed off where the jet plate sits on the fins so I removed it so it didn't do anymore rubbing, can't find the images I posted somewhere around here to.

Mostly just deionised, but started using XSPC EC6 clear recently.

It has held up really well, i was expecting it to be a lot worse, at the time was expensive so i am pleased.

Was it an EK block? this is pretty good under the jet plate, maybe the clear cover over the jet plate stopped it rubbing.

Hi,
Yes it's 1080ti ek block it wasn't terribly bad I just didn't want it to get worse
I also have an ek all copper on my titanXp it still looks like new.

I use mayhans xt1 clear I believe it's called good for 2 years.

I'm using mayhems 16/10 ultra flex tubing and XSPC EC6 clear, seems to be pretty good.

Hi,
Yep found my ek gpu water blocks these things are old seeing first is for 1080ti ftw3 soon after release hehe and still doing well even that evil copper one said would turn black with plexi on it lol
And well the nickel took the worst beating at the in-outlet removing the stainless jet plate on it was so more issues wouldn't popup later it showed a little copper hard to see in the image here plexi makes it less apparent.
