I recently updated to the newest Nvidia drivers and begin to play Assassins Creed (On sale for $5). At one point the game locked and I decided to check the card temps. Come to find out, the temperature control I set using the Nvidia control Panel was broken.

It helps you creates a graph that tells the computer what speed the fan on the GPU should run at based on the GPU temp. I am not sure if any uses this cooling option as well. My issue is GPU temp is no longer an option to control the GPU fan. I have CPU usage and Memory usage, but not GPU temp. It worked for the last 3 driver releases, now suddenly it is gone. Anyone else have this issue?

I have switched to using the Nvidia profile thingy to handle temps and it works ok, but it is a lot of work to add new games to the profiles every time I get a new one.

Any suggestions or fixes?

You will have to wait until a 3rd party program supports the new drivers.
