Hello, I dont know English.I'm sorry.I'm using google translate .

My display card broke after BIOS update. the computer is turned on but is stuck in "verifiing dmi pool data". the computer is working normally with the onboard card. It does not boot at all with the external card inserted. I can not enter the bios when I plug in the external display board and windows is not booting. I prepared a dos boot disk. The flash drive is not booting. I think my screen card is dead? Is there a way to fix this?

If you dont have your manual get it here
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-880GM-D2H-rev-40#support-dl

You have a VGA, DVI-D, HDMI port by the PS/2 Ports-1st image from uour manual is proof.

How is your monitor hooked up to your bricked card? DVI-D or HDMI?

Image below is the clear cmos jumper location and how to use it, in order for the ports on the motherboard to work you will need to clear cmos and hook the monitor to one of the ports on motherboard in your manual above.

Then turn on machine, you should get display working, plus a possible prompt that your motherboard has been set to defaults and to enter bios and save optimized defaults. Once you have done that-
