Hello all, last week I bought Lenovo Legion Y720 laptop which came with a GTX 1060 6gb, everything was running fine i've installed all latest windows update,BIOs and drivers for the laptop
Undervolted the CPU by -0.50mv which was perfectly fine.
Didn't get to properly give it a go until yesterday(sunday) where I fired up Resident evil 2 remake, had it setup to run medium-high settings and getting average of 50+fps which was fine, had Msi afterburner monitoring temps and both CPU and GPU were reporting 70c which I believe is within region for this generation of laptop?
Anyway after about 40mins of gameplay the GPU randomly crashed with a window error and then BSOD, laptop restarts and went into device manager and the GTX1060 shows the yellow flag..here are things i've tried and no difference:
DDU in safe mode
Re-install drivers and even drivers listed on Lenovo no difference
Full system restore no difference
Disconnect battery no difference
Left the laptop to cool down over night and no difference
I'm now in process of sending the laptop back for refund and get different one but I was just wondering what have you guys/girls tried to resolve this issue?
