Hi
I just bought an ssd and installed OS, after that installed drivers of gpu and checked gpu-z and it was showing zero values.
it doesn't bother me that much but after this happened some of my games won't even launch.
Specs are:
Core i7 960
Mobo lenovo x58
8gb ram
Samsung 840 Pro ssd
AMD RX 560 4gb OC.
I didn't even touched the gpu just added a ssd and this happened not even drivers are working...Here's the pic

adrenalin and crimson are the same thing.. i'm using "adrenalin" on my vega right now.. but yes, it looks like the driver aren't installed correctly, a clean install should help.

not sure why it wouldn't be stable using the new ones, but aslong as it works i guess.

hmm becouse you meniton the problem accure after ssd and os, might be the os software related not the your rx560, i think someone can explain this, gpuz is made by this forum anyway:D

was windows 10 updated to 1903?
not this again, rollback to 1803 asap:D

what os you used? secondary pcie slot? how much the pin it?
try booting without ssd, see if your card can be normal again or not, can be lack of powersupply or m/b compatible issue

I have lenovo s20 thinkstation and it has 2 black pcie slots and one blue slot

i would suggest installing 1903, the newer drivers would be written for them.
it's possible the crash is becuase the mother board might be shorting out.
hmmm... can you plug the ssd into a differnt port on the main board if it's sata and see if that helps?
a dead sata port might be corrupting the drivers on the drive.

thats typicaly crash hardware, it cause artifac, dont panic, as i would sugest you just unplug ssd, and try with previous hddl and pcie slot 1, see if the problem becouse of ssd or not, i presume that something just not right abt you motherboard

Also tried with previous hdd but no luck still the same

okay thx for helping out:oops:

nope i just sold it
that looks like a memory error. do you have any other video card to try?

i am thinking of the OS now cuz evry hardware seem to look fine

gpu is also looking fine cuz other games doing fine except GTA V and csnz
i think they require reaching clock speeds and bandwidth

gta does require looking at clock speeds of you gpu, or the china versions wouldn't work :)
so does the checker board pattern happend on the top pcie 16 slot or just the gpu-z unknown you had at the start of this thread?

i think both of them cuz afterburner is at zero also and speed can't be changed idk why

i think the problem is OS cuz i can't activate it with txt documents says this version isn't supported

i'll try installing other one and share my info here....

have you tried putting the ssd on another port / plug and reinstalling the drivers?

yes it didn't worked

this might be silly, but can you reset your main boards bios to defaults that see if it helps
