gpu-z log file perfcap reasons nividia gtx-1070

Please advise if there are issues with my perfcap reasons for my gtx-1070
machine is helios 500
predator sens overclock set to extreme at time of recording
playing game without issues just curious if i could get more assuming the cap reasons are not normal

Just dumped my GTX1070 log and my perfcap reasons are also 16.

Did you get any others ..16 I think is 100% utilization so probably normal.
I got a 1,5,4 &16

Well 16 was actually at idle in desktop? So the GPU activity was showing at 38%, I just ran it again with a windowed render test and GPU activity was showing at 98% and the Perfcap reason had reduced to 4, so I deduct that the higher the load equals a lower perfcap reason...…………. not really a deduction based on 2 runs though.

I was told to run gpuz sensor field whIle gaming in window and watch graphs it will list perfcap as colored bars and also in words. In any case I was also told the gtx1070 in a Helios 500 is voltage locked at 1.06 and that it's max over clock is 140 which I's what predator sense does on extreme setting. I checked and over clocked to extreme i get 2080 @1.06 fluctuate's due to load tho.
Max volts is 1.09 for this 1070 even when I check unlock volts in AB they and the fan reg are greyed out cause its locked in bios

It can be because of a locked Bios but often the manufacturer just uses a non programmable voltage controller which means no Bios adjustment or 3rd party overclocking utility can do anything with it, same result, I assume you have a Bios switch on the card, have you looked at the 2nd Bios and it's settings?

Edit: Sorry just realised it's a laptop so you won't have the 2nd bios switch, yeah most higher end Lappies with decent graphic solutions tend to be Bios locked because of heat/throttling risks.

Bios switch on card ? I only see the one bios mine is a acer predator Helios 500 ph517-51
Will check again in case I missed it. Downloading . Will reboot when done and post back.
On extreme over clock in predator sense my volts is 1.06 which is 0.03v off max so not much adjustment anyway plus it runs @ 2080ghz which again is the max when under 100% load.
Runs cool 50°
Not having any fps or gaming issues. So no drama if it is locked.
