Hello everybody,

I tried to installed 2 pics of Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1080TI on my System and checked the GPU graphic card sensor reading by GPU-Z 2.10.0.
But i got confused that why the 2nd 1080TI load always 0% even if i tried to ran the Render test of GPU-Z :

It looks like that the 2nd 1080TI is not activated.
The Viedo output is from 1st 1080TI , no HDMI cable is plugged on 2nd 1080TI.

Need your help to help me to analyze the symptom,
Thank you.

that test doesnt work with SLI, so it wont load the second GPU

Run heaven benchmark. Should scale for SLI

Hi All,

Thanks for your reply.

Does it mean SLI must be enabled to make sensor reading of 2nd 1080TI readble in GPU-Z ?

When you open GPU-Z, you'll find a select option at the left bottom of it. When you click to the down arrow key right side of the "Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti" writing, you'll see a second "Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080Ti" written below. You can open a second GPU-Z page ( it allows multiple software launch ) and choose the second GPU from there to monitor.

If you want, you can use Blender or Octane Benchmark tools to test your second GPU without enabling SLI.

e.g.: Sorry couldn't find a bigger picture

your second GPU will only activate with SLI turned on, in SLI supported programs/games (many games with SLI profiles just disable the second card, so it doesnt always work)
you will see 0% usage at all other times
