GPU-Z Render Test won't start

Hello fellow PC enthusiast,

I just reinstalled my PC to Windows 11, did every Driver Update and such, then wanted to check how everything is working with CPU-Z and GPU-Z. On the CPU front everything works fine, but the GPU-Z showed that my 5700xt is running with x8 Lanes on my PCIe 3.0 (I have a b450 Tomahawk Max). I wanted to start the Render test to confirm this but couldn't (screenshot is provided), I installed the missing files, then the same pop-up. I uninstalled the program and the reinstalled it, nothing, the same pop-up shows up. I wanted to check my BIOS settings as well but I am not sure what to look for there. Can someone tell me if I can check this some other way, or fix the Render test. Because if the GPU utilizes only the x8 Lanes I would like to change that to x16 lol.

Thank you for your time!

Try this.
Forgot to mention, I did Install this as well, same message again

Did you do windows updates to after reinstalling?

Can you confirm D3DX9_43.dll exists in C:\Windows\System32

If it doesn't, try running dxwebsetup.exe as administrator.

Well... Problem solved! I guess I had everything updated, turns out I didn't... Thanks you guys for all of your suggestions!
Glad to hear the problem is solved :D

Exact same issue (but Windows 10 LTSC 22)

Have fresh installed machine TWICE
Have installed DirectX and checked its OK with DXdiag...
Have installed d3dx43.exe (as an Admin too) and checked files ARE in windows/system32
Machine fully updated with Windows update
Drivers latest for GPU (Kepler so old and stable drivers).

Completely stumped....

Only thing I did on the finally working install of Windows was NOT install DX9, just install Windows updates then the d3dx43.exe patch. I suspect something in the order of installing stuff. I previously used a DirectX all in one from Chocolatey
