[GPU-Z Test Build] New Kernel Driver, Everyone: Please Test

I also have entries on my event viewer, example:

CoffeeScript:
The description for Event ID 0 from source GPU-Z-v3 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Created link: \??\GPU-Z-v3 -> \Device\GPU-Z-v3

The request is not supported

Attached export from the event viewer with all the errors I have, also replied to your DM, sorry again for the delay @W1zzard

I also have entries on my event viewer, example:
Yes, the log entry is just "Created link: \??\GPU-Z-v3 -> \Device\GPU-Z-v3". it's not an error or anything, I just use this method to get the log output without much effort

@W1zzard: I have those errors in the event viewer too. Version 2.66.3.

Text:
"The operation completed successfully. "

First three entries are generated on GPU-Z start and the last one on exit. Text is always the same.
This is normal and expected, not errors

Build in first post updated with 2.66.3, which should fix the issues on older hardware.

Please reboot before testing and don't start the old GPU-Z test build (or it will reuse its older kernel driver)

@agent_x007, @Wumyg, @3x0, @SonicAndSmoke, @QuietBob please test
Detection works now as it did previously :)
Still get's a false "Rebar enabled", even when "unsupported GPU" get's detected :/

Works perfectly fine for me! Windows 11 24H2 (26100.4484) R7 5700X3D, RX 9070XT, B450M A PRO MAX.

For me, 2.66.3 works exactly the same as 2.66.2. All the systems in Post #32 show the same behaviour, the four good ones are still good, and the five bad ones are still bad.

Yeah, looks like it :/ I did find a bug in the kernel driver and tested it on R600 and it works fine for me (while 2.66.2 did not)

Windows 10 x64 16GB, i5-4690K, 5700XT. Some missing sensor data on 2.66.3 (reboot between versions)

@W1zzard
Just tried the new 2.66.3 build in Win7 64-bit, and I'm getting all the same errors as in the previous one.
Tested on a freshly booted OS.

Build in first post updated again with a fix for BIOS reading (affects all owners of older NVIDIA cards)

Please reboot before testing and don't start the old GPU-Z test build (or it will reuse its older kernel driver)

@agent_x007, @Wumyg, @3x0, @SonicAndSmoke, @QuietBob please test

The installer however stalled and I had to force close it
no change to the installer in this version, maybe it tried to update the still-open file from the previous installation?

GTX 970 + Win11 24H2 as well as GTX 660 + Win10/WinXP x64 do report "UEFI Checkbox" and the BIOS Info Page does work again with v2.66.4. Didn't check the other systems yet, but i'll guess they're fine as well now in that regard. Intel iGPU still show no mem clock, and the legacy BIOS system still does wrongfully report "CSM disabled = yes".
RTX 3090 (not freshly rebooted) did show all sensors, but no sensor data at all (neither graph nor numbers) on the very first run. On the 2nd and 3rd run, all sensor data came back. Arc A310 LP wasn't rebooted as well, but did show all the data on the first run.

"CSM disabled = Yes": this should read "No" on legacy BIOS systems, as the information boils down to "are we running UEFI or BIOS code?", and CSM=disabled means UEFI=enabled (*)
Nice find. A simple coding bug, this will be fixed in next release (the version in the screenshot shows .4, but that's not part of the .4 build here in the forums)

But bus width has reappeared? or no improvement at all?
Something else, it flip-flops. One boot it's completely fine, after rebooting both mem bus width and clock have disappeared.
Grabbed a second notebook from HP running 7th Gen i5, and here both mem bus width and clock, as well as GPU clock and fillrates have disappeared.

Signature "DLSS" PC but with a GTX 970, everything is correct. Same Windows 10 21H2.

@W1zzard
Unfortunately, 2.66.4 didn't solve my issues in Win7 64-bit. Same errors as before.

EDIT
Also tested WinXP 32-bit with an AGP card. Both 2.66.0 and 2.66.4 incorrectly report Resizble BAR as enbled and CSM as disabled (Advanced tab -> PCIe Resizable BAR). Everything else seems consistent between the two versions.

Win10 22H2 64-bit, FX-8120 @ ASRock 970, Quadro 2000 @ GeForce GTS 450 (DevID Bootstrap Mod, but shouldn't matter for this report) => "Bus Interface" Infobox and Popup shows correct max and current PCIe link speed (2.0 / 2.0) only when under load. When idle, it shows 1.1 for both max and current, while it should show 2.0 max / 1.1 current. For comparison, RTX 3090 correctly shows 4.0 max / 1.1 current.

Tested GPU-Z 2.66.0 (Asus Rog themed) and the 2.66.4 release from the top post of this thread. Windows 11 64-bit, 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super Asus Dual OC. All information is reporting properly and identical between the two versions, no issues.
