I clearly have an older GPU that does not support Ray-tracing yet
GPUz v2.44.0 and possibly other version are reporting it on with a checked checkbox...

so here I am here to report it...

I may be completely wrong but I'm pretty sure 10 series and 16 series cards support ray tracing after a certain driver version.

wow really?! news to my ear...
ok so maybe not a bug.. but whats the point of buying a 20xx or 30xx graphics card if thats true..
IF you could even find one at MSRP.... lol

It does support RTX, but has no Tensor/RTX cores present. All the processing is done with the shaders or CUDA cores.

You can turn RTX on, on supported games but it will be more of a struggle for older cards that dont have the correct technology to run it as efficiently. Its going to hurt your FPS more than it would on 2xxx and 3xxxx series cards.

You wont be able to get the same performance as the 2xxx or 3xxx series of cards with RTX on.

Pascal supports Ray Tracing 1.0,
RTX stuff does Ray Tracing 1.1.
