Right, I am on the mooch for a new graphics card (Must get rid of this crappy Radeon cheapo) and I am looking in the price range of £100 as I don't need some uber eli7e card as I am not a huge gamer needing massive overclocking (Or any in fact) I just want a card that will give me what I need and not hold my system scores back when I eventually get around to benchmarking my rig.

It has to be AGP compatible as my MOBO isn't PCI-E and I can't be arsed going that way as I won't really be needing 2 x graphics cards for the reasons stated above.

I'm not overly impressed with ATI anymore as it seems certain games that I occasionaly play favour nVidia type ones. (D-Day for example) so I was mooching about and came across this one. which fits my price range and seems to do what I would need.

So advice or alternatives are/is being sought.

Views, opinions or other choices I should consider would be appreciated.

dank00 in advance. (:

Thanks.

So whut be the difference between the different companies knocking these things out then?

As in...
PNY Verto GeForce 6 6600GT
Leadtek WinFast GeForce 6600 GT
XFX GeForce 6600 GT

Is it just company brand naming or?

If so which to go with?

Cheers for the info. =]

if i were you i'd add a few quid and get a nice 6800GS agp.

IMHO, that's the card that offers the most bang-for-the-agp-buck nowdays.

i've already ordered mine. :D

Yup, £100 is all I can justify on splashing out on a graphics card, I don't game enough to warrant anything else really.

Try the XFX 6600GT. My friend got one the other day and he's very proud of his. Also an AGP. Pretty decent performance for the price he paid! And overclocked good as well. Think he got 600MHz core and 1.14GHz memory max. Not bad. :D
