Hello,

So I have Frontier Gigabit Fiber ... I get 1050 DL / 985 UP ... If run the cable into my router and to my PC.

However .. If run to my Router , to GS110EMX , to PC I get 900 d / 331 u. not sure Why its killing my upload.

All that being said .. If use the GS110EMX 10gbe Switch to .. upload to another PC on the 10gb .. I get 10gb ... its only effecting my Net uploads speeds.

Side note .. I also have 2x GS110MX (non managed switches ) .... If I use one of these .. I get 905/928

I am assuming their is a setting in the Managed switch that is causing this .. I have updated Firmware and turned on and off some settings .. but cant seem to get anything to fix it .. what settings a in a Managed switch would effect Internet speeds

(UPDATE)
By turning on flow contorl I can get uploads up to about 540

Others have noticed this with a LAN port issue with the fiber router, what model is it?

My Router is EdgeRouter X SFP (hardware offload is enabled ) ... I can get gigabit with it .. Directly or threw A non managed switched. Only when I used the GS110EMX (managed) does it drop well below.

Side note ... Fig out if I turn flow control on I can get 540ish .... If I used any non managed switch I get 900+

Its just odd because I get full 10gbe if Transfer files from 1 pc to another... its only My internet upload that is cut in 1/2

Try swapping cables and/or ports. I have had problems with 5 foot brand-new out of the bag cables

I did swap out my patch cables .. however most of my cables are in the walls ... and I do get 10gbe with all my cables when i go PC -> PC ... only have issues when my 10gbe switch is installed .. the uploads drop to 540 max ...

If I remove the Managed 10GBe .. and use A 1Gbe Unmanaged or 1Gbe Managed or 10Gbe Unmanaged ... I get near 900+ Uploads.

Any QoS application or packet shaping, load balance, "security" etc... turned on, or possibly needing turned off. Reading the datasheet its one or more of these settings.

is there a reason you need a managed switch over the unmanaged switch

was going to use Link aggregation to get 2Gbe internet to .. once I upgrade my router.

2Gbe Fiber -->DreamMachine SE (2.5Gbe Wan) === > 2x LAG to GS110EMX (Used 2x 1Gbe Ports) then ea 10gbe would go to A GS110MX (10Gbe Unmanaged), ea of these GS110MX go to 10Gbe NIC PC

Did try to turn off everything I could find

Below is the Future Plans ... don not have 2Gbe Net yet .. or The DreamMachine SE.

Want the 1gbe Uploads .. becuase I share my Plex / Tv tuner with other family outside my house

My set up is basicly what is listed below .. .other then I am using EdgeRouter X SFP (Now) and only have 1GBe Fiber Internet
