So i bought GTA 5 this thursday and the game is always crashing some times i even get a blue screen and the blue screen error is always different but here are some of the prints that i have before crashing.
Translation of the prints:
"ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT
Startup failed. Please restart the system and then the game. Please try reinstalling the game if the problem persists. "
AND
"GamePanel.exe - Application Error
The Application could not be initialized correctly (Oxc000012d).
Click OK to close the application. "

I see that the game is using a lot of pagefile ram, like 6gb of ram and 10gb of pagefile and i think it´s not normal. I have tried to disable the pagefile but then i get that message saying that i dont have more RAM so i changed the pagefile to 32000GB and it´s still the same. My drivers are updated and i have directx updated and i have Microsoft Visual C++ 2005/8/10/12/13/15
What else can i do?

if your running MSI afterburner or Possibly even other Monitoring software, You MIGHT be having an issue that i get, which causes crashes for No reason that i can tell....if i close all monitoring Apps, it runs fine.

leave the pagefile to AUTO. dont ever mess with that. M$ knows better than You..

Hmm... I never had a problem with GTA V while running MSI AB in the background or RTSS..
Maybe it could be a Win 10 issue?

The pagefile was on auto before, it´s now back on auto and the game crashed again "Stopped responding" i was using afterburner but closing it did nothing...

That means that i need to format my computer?

If setting the page file to manual or automatic or whatever fixes it then yeah do it ,but I've never found an instance where changing the page file did anything for a game,so I've always had the rule of thumb to leave it alone.

It could be a windows 10 thing ,I've googled it and found several people who also have the afterburner issue I believe it's the RTSS server specifically not the afterburner app specifically tho. I don't think you need to reformat your operating system that's a bit far. Normally for the afterburner issue you just have to make sure that our TSS is updated to the newest version possibly even the beta ( or just keep it closed while you launch Grandtheft auto

Make sure everything is up-to-date driver wise and windows updates, maybe even open an elevated command prompt and run sfc/scannow. See if you have any OS corruption

What else can you do?

1. Use a different driver...older if on the newest, or newer if on older.
2. Reinstall the game as it suggests...

i suppose i shouldnt have, but i had assumed You did this already @Miguel_132 so yeah, do these things please

Confirm what is using so much page file as well... i dont recall the game doing that, however i have 32gb of ram. My pf is set static to 2GB..

Latest nvidia driver runs GTA V just fine.....:)

I tried to disable the nvidia telemetry stuff but it resulted in massive stutters and/or game freezes now and then, have tested with all telemetry things enabled and it runs fine now....:ohwell:

Just some info...

The page file is on auto now, but the game is using more page file than ram, i have 8, when i play gta it´s using like 6gb of ram and 10gb of page file
What is TSS btw?
I have my windows and GPU drivers updated to the lastest version (29/6/2017)

I can try a older driver
I reinstalled the game yesterday and when i played today it was the same...

When i play GTA 5 i have around 6gb of ram and 10gb of page file..

Install direct X on your computer from microsoft page
Inastall latest graphics card driver: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-geforce-graphics-drivers/
Already installed that

Confirm what exactly is using the pf..not how much yoy are using. The game doesnt use that much ram i dont think...

What are you in game settings at?

Hmm... I see this when I just alt+tabbed out of GTA V:

Note my pagefile size is set to auto and system controlled.

Edit: I see you only have 8GB of memory......

And now i got a blue screen saying MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

You really have some issues going on there, beyond just running GTA V....:(

The thing is that this only happened when i played GTA 5, other games are fine

I did, i am not runing fraps or afterburner during gameplay.
And that error doesn´t show up always. 90% of the times it´s just gta 5 stopped working

EDIT: I was playing Rise Of The Tom Raider now and the game stopped working too.
I has to be some software issue
I have played Tom Raider before and the game was fine
I had the windows 10 creator update recently, can it be the problem?

I had my ram set to xmp profile 2 to get the 2400mhz speed, i just disable it and it´s good again.

Unstable memory probably.

Profile 2 XMP probably was not aggressive enough with voltages to run it stable.....PROBABLY! Glad you can play now !!!!
