HiHi,

after an hour of testing iv come up with some stable clocks of

Stock volts 1.0120
Core 950mhz
Shader 1900
Memory 1250 or 2520

now after looking around at some other people overclocks, even the TPU reviews i havnt found anyone that comes close to 1250mhz on the ram.... and the only reson i stoped is due to the slider limitation on afterburner.

is there a way to either unlock the slider to go further on the memory or perhaps reccomend another program?
i tried riva tuner but it does not support either my current driver or the card.

Note: this will become a mini review of the GTX 560 TI MSI FROZR 2

Hi,
Im new to this overclocking business. But whenever I try to overclock my Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC (900MHz standard) to above 920MHz, the clock resets as soon as there is some load on the gpu.
Any idea why this is happening? I should be able to clock it atleast a little bit shouldnt I?

900mhz is already way over the reference clocks, chances are thats as high as you can go without adding more volts to the GPU core. check your temps, make sure its not too hot.

It's definitely not too hot, it's only at 33 degrees celcius on idle. So there is no way i can get it higher than 900MHz?

Load temps are the important ones, what are they at?

i reallly think its a voltage problem, after some more testing i have found 950mhz not stable and had to take it back down to 925mhz / 2400 on the ram.

my cards load temp is only 55-60 depending on temp outside.

note, i also have a very large, 200mm Antec fan blowing across the whole card. my pc is not in a case.. more of a test bench setup.

getting 2 gtx 560 ti this week from msi this will try to push the core at 1ghz enven higher if i can will post result and bench when done

this is my plan as well, how ever i will also need to buy a new PSU to power it all :P.....4 year old 500 watt psu just isnt going to cut it..

so far 925mhz / 2400 mhz @1.02 volts (Stock) seems to be 100% stable. havnt tried higher volts yet, i dont want to tax the PSU anymore then it already is.
