Hi guys, I have an issue. I bought used gtx 690. Just for fun... And it's cheap. So anyway me and my friend clean it, put new pads and paste, and boot it up, works 100% briliantly. Update nvidia drivers and sli works fine. (it shows message gpu in sli mode when windows 10 boot up)

But then we thought wanna try some games, we open up pubg to test it out, after 5 minute into gameplay, then suddenly a net framework message pop outs says "need to update framework 3.0". Then the monitor just turned off automatically says no signal with pc still running. Tried booting the pc up again, My asrock beep 5 times = no vga detected. On my buddy gigabyte, the vga led lights up, indicates gpu issue. My question is, is there any way to fix it? Like flashing gpu bios? MORE importantly, how can that message straight damage my gpu? what causes it? even if no drivers up to date, it should boot normally with a display atleast.

My only problem now is that Im unable to perform the flash cause, well the gpu cant be detect, so i have to rely on Igpu. but im using ryzen...so as my friend. f***

can it be fixed if i flash bios with integrated cpu like ryzen G or intel ? https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/129869/nvidia-gtx690-2048-120421-1. And i never flash gpu bios before. So help and guide really appreciate. It seems people at nvidia forum dont bother

I think it's an effect more than a cause.

I'd physically examine the card for problems.

Well I don't know how my friend PC does not have older v net framework. But im just wondering what actually happen? why it doesnt want to display anymore?.
So, I have to open back check the pads first etc ?

.NET Framework 3.5 includes 3.0 and 2.0 which Windows 10 installs on demand. These are features of Windows.

As is, the card can't even get past POST. Focus on the POST problem.

I suspect the card catastrophically failed and there's usually evidence if that's the case.

Okay, Il try open back and see first...If there none. Should I proceed flashing it ?

Flashing won't fix a dead card. Why flashing would be an option so early is so far off. (To put it nicely)
