can you game across hamichi as if ur on a lan?

tried it but it didnt work

yes you could, i have tried it in the past and it works. not to sure what you are doing wrong.

isn't that the point of Hamachi? it basically tells your computer that it's apart of a LAN with computers across the internet. I guess that has other benefits than gaming, but I've only ever used for multiplayer games...especially when some people lack legal copies.

That in technical terms is called a VPN (virtual private network). Hamachi is just a stupid easy way in setting a VPN.

It will work for some games and will not work for other games, i've tried to play with my friend, but most of our game didn't work.
but i believe it has to do with ports and/or how game is made, there are places where you can read about how to configure each game for hamachi, some even have patches

y'all say easy like its a bad thing ...
