Just got another Western Digital 320G SATAII 7200 rpm HDD and for Reason It is showing it as Unknown 298.09 GB Not Initialized Unallocated in the Disk management ???:cry:

This is the first hard drive that i have had do this

Any ideas?
 
Sounds like all you need to do is partition the drive
 
lol thats what i was thinking too but if i right click or got to the menu the only options it gives me is to view properties the Partitions option is grayed out :(
 
Problem solved Smashed hard drive to zillions of bits and send back to manufacture LOL :rockout:
