Hey guys,
I just joined ur forum and am really honoured to be a member here of course..
I am REALLY suffering from a problem in ocing my core 2 duo E8500 to 4.0/4.5 GHZ and i recorded a video from my bios so u people can tell me what to do and am having cooler Master seidon 120V plus liquid cpu cooler
Link: http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-liquid-cooler/seidon-120v-plus/
So what I did is I inc. the cpu freq. By small increaments till i reached 343x9.5 at 1.23750v but whenever i try to go above it starting from 344x9.5 the pc fails to boot so i set the (G)MCH to 333 and the system memory multiplier to 3.20B and successfully worked on 343x9.5 which is 3.25 Ghz but when from 344x9.5 the pc fails to boot and bios turns to safe mode by setting all to stock so I did the previous and raised the ram voltage to 1.6v and failed too so i recorded a video with my mob. From bios hoping u tell me what to do exactly
Specs: gigabyte G41MT-S2P
ik a guy who reached 4.0 GHZ with the same cpu on a gigabyte G41MT-ES2L which has the same oc features as the S2P.
Bios: Award modular bios v6.00PG
Ram: 6Gb DDR3 kingston dual channel (2gb+4gb) (stock not hyperx)
Cpu: core 2 duo E8500 3.16 GHZ 6MB cache
Psu: cooler master Elite 500 Ver.2 EU type
Link: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/office-home-elite-power/elite-power-v2-500w/
Graphics card: gigabyte gtx 750ti 2gb DDR5 WINDFORCE.
Case: cooler master N200 pc case
However when i oced it to 3.25 GHZ, i opened core temp and my temps were 40-43 degree Celsius in core#0 and 23-31 degree Celsius in core#1 and the 2 fans of the cooler and the pump are at FULL SPEED.
Another thing is that i stressed the cpu when reached 3.25 GHZ for 30 mins. In cpu-z Then closed it and played need for speed rivals but t i had TOO much LOSS in fps from 12-20 while my graphics card runs it sooo smoothly, i mean an oc cpu should inc. in performance then why i had loss in performance even lower than when it was at stock so I returned the cpu to stock and also the loss in fps is continuing, anyone knows what i have to do to raise the fps again?
Link of the video: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1gqc551hmediwng/wmplayer+2017-04-14+14-55-47-130.avi
I uploaded it one mediafire since it's more secured and trust me this is the most available size i could reach bec. It was 492 MB but I REDUCED THE SIZE ofc. So u guys won't suffer from downloading AND U CAN SCAN THE LINK AGAIN IF U WANT TO CHECK FROM AMYTHING, however mediafire IMMEDIATELY deletes any file if there was any threat in it so hope u can watch the video and tell me what to do
Thanks ❤
