Hello everyone;
I need your help identifying this sot23-3 marked in the picture below with a reading on top: p4C6H (not sure if it's "p" or something else).

Short story:
-Bought this dead Sapphire HD 6670 1gb gddr5 from the market for 5$ to learn diagnosing dead GPUs.
-GPU cold, 1117m3 regulator getting really hot along with this guy in the picture .
-Figured it's a short circuit somewhere in this area.
-Start poking and accidentally hit this guy pin with the nearby cap with the stupid big probe of the cheap multimeter (heard a "tak" so definitely another short circuit) .
-Now the output voltage at the mosfets of the v-core rail reads 0v, So this component is a power delivery or power switch transistor maybe.
-The problem that there is absolutely nothing on the internet about "p4C6H "
Hope you guys can help.

Look at the white Silk Screen Q661

The Q Represents Transistor

Thank you for replying eidairaman1
The problem that I can't figure it out, the label on this component is unique
if someone have a picture of the back side of an MSI, Asus or PowerColor HD6670 PCB since they possibly have the same layout, I will be grateful.

Checked my card , my Q661 reads L4A3C.

The letter A is raised and has a = symbol under it.

Q1700 near the DVI port is of the same type.

So is Q1802 near the HDMI / DP ports

Hello Jacky_BEL;
This information is helpful, thank you.
What brand is your card?
can you post an image of that area?

It is the Sapphire HD 6670 1 GB version , same layout as yours.

I don't have a good enough camera to make such a close-up shot.
I can't even see it with the naked eye , I had to use a magnification loupe and lighting to read the markings.

Sorry for the late reply
I changed the component with a another one from an old dead Sapphire HD 4830(near the DVi port) which have the label L4Y7S (similar to L4A3C)
the good news is that the voltage is restored and this component is overheating again, now I just have to find the short
Thank you again
