Hey guys, just needed some help about ATI's new HD4800 series. It says for the HD4850 you need a 450w PSU and for the HD4870 you need a 500w, and I have a 500w psu and I am really tempted to buy the HD4870 but still not sure cause of my psu, I might have 500w of power but theres also requirements like you need 30amps on a 12v rail or something like that, i need help on this, dont know much about psu's and still learning about em.
I took a look on my psu and it says
12v1+ / 12v2+
16amps 15amps
something like that, and it has all the wattages that add up to 500w MAX, hope this helps.
thanx guys much appreciated!
