I have 2 WD Black 1.5 drives in Raid1 on a Marvel controller.
Drives are as follows:
Intel controller
OCZ Vertex 3 Sata III SSD 120GB x2 Raid0
640GB WD Cavair x2 Raid1
Marvel controller
1.5 TB WD Cavair Black x2 Raid1
Motherboard
Asus P8P67 Deluxe v.3 1702 bios
The drives on the Marvel controller suddenly got very slow.
Reading, transfering, writing
I can access everything but anything requiring moving any data is painfully slow.
They used to be very fast.
I was downloading files. Unraring sometimes 6 or 7 large files at the same time.
I was using the drives very hard.
Then they started getting errors that windows wanted to repair anytime I restarted.
Which I let it do.
This went on for a week or so.
Now there are no more errors just very very slow.
Any ideas?
