Help! ASUS Zenpad 10 Android - Finding a Tablet Keyboard/touchpad/mouse - Broken touch screen

I need some help with what to choose that would work for my specific predicament. I dropped my ASUS Zenpad 10 last night and it hit concrete. The touch screen itself is pretty much gone. There are a few areas on the screen I can still tap, but about 75% of it doesn't respond. The screen visually isn't really that bad. I can still see everything the display is completely fine. The cracks aren't even that bad, it just wrecked the touch part of it.

I had an idea of buying a tablet keyboard/mouse combo or keyboard/touchpad combo something that could give me access to what I can see on the screen. Yeah, normally I would just buy one of those bluetooth ones pair them up and be set, but I cannot tap the areas I would need to to actually pair the keyboard to the tablet. I can get into settings and bluetooth is already on, so it will actively try to detect bluetooth devices, but that's the best it will do. Even if it detected the bluetooth Keyboard/mouse it wouldn't matter at all.

I had thought, well maybe I could get a micro USB wired tablet keyboard/mouse/touchpad combo, or a wireless version (wireless would probably be preferable), but everything I find seems like cheap Chinese garbage, or something that I will waste my money on that may or may not work. It has to have a touchpad or mouse attached to it, so that I can actually interact with what I am seeing on the screen. Ironically, if I had that I could then buy a superior wireless bluetooth tablet keyboard/touchpad combo and send back the USB one. So, I am not really looking to spend too much money here. I just want something that will allow me access to the tablet. Please help!

Have you tried turning the tablet to see if auto rotate allows better access?

I'm not even sure that by plugging in a usb mouse/keyboard to the tablet that Android would reconnize and install drivers

Buy a MicroUSB to USB cable or adapter and plug in any USB mouse you have around. It works like a charm on my Asus FonePad 7 (Android 4.4.2) and even on my old Nokia phone (Symbian Belle) - that thing is from 2012. Also worked on a Xiaomi Mi4 phone, failed only on Lenovo A1000.
