Greetings!
I have two monitors that I want to connect to my PC. My main monitor is connected to the GPU and the other one to the Mobo. All the settings in BIOS are done so that it supports multiple monitors (Onboard video - enabled, Video Setup: IGD first and IGD Multi-Monitor Enabled). I have the following setup because my GPU doesn't have two HDMI ports:
Monitor 1 DVI -> HDMI GPU
Monitor 2 HDMI -> DisplayPort Mobo (not working)
Monitor 2 VGA -> VGA Mobo (working)
Monitor 1 is working properly, but the second one isn't working as it should. When I boot my pc, monitor 2 goes into power saving mode and it switches on the VGA mode. I've tried different HDMI cables and different DP to HDMI adapters.
Everything worked fine until yesterday when I had to move things around including my PC setup and I had to disconnect and reconnect everything. My guess is that the monitor tries to use the DP resolution (from the mobo) while using the HDMI slot (from the monitor) and HDMI cable, but I'm not sure.
