Hi every one .
Forgive me for my bad English .
I'm a technical who had recently changed a gpu chip by another , the laptop mobo for hp g62 it's original chip ati 5470 , i change it to ati 6370 and it worked .
But unfortionality that cames with problems , the driver stops on games or videos because the bios still see it as 5470
i tried gpu-z to save vbios but that's not supported .
Any suggestions???

Well, on laptops you have onboard GPU.
Which means that GPU is soldered directly to mainboard.
As we understand, you've managed to change the GPU from mainboard by desoldering the old one and replacing it with 6370?
In this case you must edit your mainboard BIOS and do the changes there also.
Ask for help from some1 who did that.

You did understood the case correctly , I know that i have to edit the main bios.
That what is this topic about .
Discarding the situation i need help to extract the vbios of a vga card and insert it to main bios

Sorry again but i need to explain that I'm really new at editing or moding bios .
I know you could say what a silly thing that you are trying to do , but we are here as Syrians who don't have electricity or any other power sources (with poor economic situation ) trying to benefit what ever we can of what we have .
this laptop motherboard is more than 10 years old , and we are still trying make it work.
Again i would appreciate any help .
